silver4's Diaryland Diary ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- fire and power i like how i come straight home from school and make a big bowl of ice cream. crap. which reminds me, that makes 300 pushups/crunches including the 2 rounds for yesterday. i woke up this morning at 5 as planned, and did some crap. then around 7 i was making breakfast and a fire alarm goes off in our building, waking up several people understandably. so that was delay #1. then i get to school and am setting up etc, and at 8:50 all the power goes out in the building. the block. several blocks. and our patients start at 9 a.m., so we didn't know whether or not or when or not the power would come back on. delay #2. blah blah, around 10:15 it comes back, but they say it will take another hour or so to reboot all the clinic computers individually, so we all have to reschedule. so i tell my patient, it sucks, whatever. i stay productive and go to lab to work on a case for next week (i'm getting on top of this stuff; last week i did a case for tomorrow, and last night i did a case for next week, too. go me!) then i get ready to do my crown lengthening surgery for the afternoon and it was fun, i semi-rocked it, so that was good. i love perio surgery. it's fun stuff. that's about it actually. i went to the first year clinic to see if my roommmate wanted help with anything, chatted a bit, and left. ate ice cream to get fat. i'm in a good mood after that surgery. now i want to cook something...
