silver4's Diaryland Diary ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- just pull it. whoever out there thinks that dental work is expensive, try being a damn dental student. my tuition is approx. $300,000, part 1 boards exam was maybe $200 i don't remember, part 2 is $340, which i have to take again, so lets just say $680, the western regional boards for licensure is just over $2000, and i just had to pay another $250 for two other tests that are part of the licensure. not to mention housing and all that shit. and not to mention all the money i spent applying to school in the first place, with application fees and supplemental fees and travel expenses to go interview at schools in cali and new york... that was def over $3000 i'm sure. and then the interest with loans when i get out of here and onto repayment programs puts the true cost of tuition to at least $450K, and then i may have to pay my patients to get them to show up for the final boards date... WTF? ha. and i have to find an assistant too and potentially pay them too????? a;lskjf;aldskjf;aslkdfasdlkfjalkdjaldsk;fa;sldjf;la i'm a poor fuckin student. i can't handle this. life is too expensive. especially when we go out drinking every weekend and throw our loan money down on alcohol. my bad. but i'll do it again tonight; i have no shame. anyways. that is my rant for the moment. now that i just registered for and paid for these two tests, i can register for my next round of part 2... actually, i'm going to give my bank account and sanity a break and do it tomorrow. i'll go back to cleaning the room. 4:34 p.m. - 2010-04-10 ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
