silver4's Diaryland Diary ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The odds So I went to work, long day, blah blah, on my drive back I think meh how about I stop at the station casino by my place and see if I can win maybe an extra $200 to throw on top of my paycheck so I can just deposit the check and not have to take anything out of it for spending cash. Debated on that versus just going to the bank, because my last couple visits to the casino weren't too hot. I don't get super spendy, the most I will lose out of pocket is maybe $100, and that's when I'm just not controlling myself. So I mostly just drop $20-40 and win or lose. So I put in $20 on 25 cent video poker, and I win a little then use it all. I move to another machine and find $15 in my purse (otherwise I just had ones). I throw it in, and start to lose it quickly, and then...I hold three aces, and I get one more ace and a 3! This machine paid $1,034. Ummm yaaayy!! After saying "NO FUCKIN WAY", I quickly cashed out and sadly did the responsible thing and put all the hundreds in the bank and kept the lame leftovers. It was actually $1,042, so yesss I got all the money back that I put in. Well..and then some. So yay. More money to help pay for all my endless bills.
