silver4's Diaryland Diary ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Countdown Found a hygienist. Hallelujah! She is just awaiting her license in the mail, waiting for all the paperwork to clear up so that she can be on board. I have her, plus a part time assistant coming along. This help will be a major stress reliever. It is exhausting doing all this hectic work and then trying to schedule people in to tight spots that have no give, and having to keep interviewing and pursuing people to be the right fit for the office. This girl is very young, very sweet. Seems to have the right frame of mind, and should hopefully blend in well with the overall office dynamic. So now just awaiting said documents, and then we can start working her into the schedule. She says she is happy to join our practice, that she wanted to find a private office as opposed to one of the many chain offices out there that push you to do 20 patients a day. I understand and can appreciate why places put that many patients on the schedule, which is mostly because of insurance reimbursement, or lack thereof. So they double and triple book with the expectation that some patients just won't show up, and those who do will get a half ass cleaning. Who am I to rag on other places though? By the way, we are making such a good name for ourselves in the Vegas community. It makes me excited for things to come... I'm trying. Baby steps. Lots of work though. Eh I'll attempt sleep now. Two more days left of insane, hectic work, and then I am off to vacation.
